March 23, 2005 by Greg Everett | View Comments (1)

Team Canada is proud to announce more managerial appointments for the upcoming 2005 International Cup, welcoming Julian Thornbury as Team Manager and Kieran Sparks as a Team Runner.

Mr. Julian Thornbury has been appointed to the position of Team Manager. Julian is a qualified teacher and has represented Canada on two occasions, once in 2003 and again in 2004 against the USA. Julian, unfortunately, is unable to play for Canada in 2005 due to knee surgery to correct an injury that occurred against the USA in 2004.

Mr. Kieran Sparks has been appointed to one of the two Team Runner positions. Kieran is sales representative for MSA Canada who is taking on this demanding role after retiring in 2001 from the game after 10 years of playing in Canada. Kieran is the brother of well respected former Subiaco Football Club coach Kevan Sparks.
