The AFL has released the schedule for the 2005 International Cup. Canada will play six games, including one at Optus Oval and one in Wangarratta (a country venue about 230 km northeast of Melbourne). The Grand Final will be played at the MCG as a curtain raiser to the Collingwood vs. Carlton match. Go Northwind!

...looks like a very favourable Pool B grouping boys! GOOD LUCK in Melbourne guys, as I'm sure you'll all do Canada very proud!!! C'arn Northwind.
I hope the Northwind will go very very far... perhaps in Grand Final!
Only PNG and New Zealand will be real contenders and... Let the Force be with us!

Spending 2005 in rural SA, with my girlfriend, who is here on a teaching exchange. I am hooked on the game of footie. Still don't know why jerseys are called guernseys. Will attempt to make it to Melbourne for the International Cup. GO CROWS GO!!!
