Last month, the 25 players from Ontario who will represent Canada at the 2008 International Cup in Melbourne, Australia in August were announced. Now, five more players from Western Canada have been added to the squad and another player has been added to the injury reserve list.
Congratulations to Gareth Bowley, Scott Fleming, Clayton Holmes, James Maitland and Gareth Williams who were named to the squad and Matt Kidd who is on the injury reserve list.
In an effort to ensure that we bring the strongest team, other selections may be added to round out the national team and the availability of current prospects is realized. The final roster will not exceed 32 players.
