AFL Canada is pleased to welcome the incoming Board of Directors, who were appointed by Members at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on November 16th.
The slate approved at the AGM followed an extensive process led by the Nomination Committee. The Committee solicited applications, reviewed resumes, held interviews, and made a recommendation to the Board based on the Skills Matrix required by Sport Canada, gender balance requirements under AFL Canada bylaws, and geographic representation.
Long-time Treasurer David Smith was appointed as Chair. He will work closely alongside Caroline Leduc, as she moves into the role of Vice Chair. Mabel Dunn continues in her role as Player’s Representative: Women, while Haley Jones remains as Director.
