Footy to feature at the 2024 Kin Games!

February 2, 2024

AFL Canada is once again taking part in the largest student-run conference in Canada in 2024 – the Kin Games!

Kinesiology students from all across Canada will converge upon Windsor, Ontario to take part in activities related to academics, athletics, dance and spirit! 23 universities and around 500 students will attend the conference hosted at the University of Windsor.

This is the fourth time Footy has been present at the Kin Games, having previously been involved at:

  • Edmonton in 2018, hosted by the University of Alberta.
  • Niagara in 2020, hosted by Brock University.
  • Winnipeg in 2023, hosted by the University of Winnipeg.

Footy has been one of the marquee sports at the event in the past but 2024 will look a little different! AFL Canada will be running various activities across the event to provide Kin Students from all across Canada the opportunity to get a deeper understanding of the sport – we won’t ruin the surprise just yet as to exactly what’s involved, just keep an eye on social media!

AFL Canada is proud to be part of the Kin Games once again, providing hundreds of students the opportunity to fall in love with our great game.
